Two Darn Hot

Alice Coulam is a jazz and Big Band singer based in Sevenoaks. Before moving south, Alice became very well-known on the Northern jazz scene having worked in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester for a number of years.

Alice’s main influences include Anita O’Day, Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone.

Paul Malsom & Karen Lane

Local guitarist Paul’s performances are imaginative, expressive and highly virtuosic. He has become a regular favourite and together with soulful jazz singer Sarah Jane they provide the ideal duo for great live background entertainment.

Sue Rivers duo

Sue Rivers is gifted with a unique voice, suited so well to the field of jazz, in the tradition of the great American singers. Sue is known for her musicality, her natural, mellow tone and the sheer emotion she pours into her performance, delighting audiences wherever she sings. Although jazz is Sue's area of speciality, she is a thoroughly versatile singer, who has experience of all styles of singing. Sue is a local favourite from Sevenoaks.

Martin Nicholls Trio

Mainstream Jazz from one of the best male vocalists in the business.

Martin from Tunbridge Wells has played with symphony orchestras, big bands and small ensembles of virtually every persuasion, reflecting his eclectic taste and encyclopaedic knowledge of music.

From Sarah you can expect warm jazz and soulful torchlight sounds, featuring many much loved jazz standards from icons including Peggy Lee and Etta James as well as heartbreaking interpretations of Aretha Franklin and contemporary songbird Madelaine Peyroux.
